The annual 2009 Miss Tahiti will be held on 26th June 2009. The new beauty queen Tahiti will compete at Miss France 2010. While The lovely 1st runner-up will compete in 2009 Miss Earth contest.
Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held between the 4th and 24th of October, 2009 in in Manila, Philippines. At the conclusion of the competition, outgoing titleholder Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry of the Philippines will crown her successor.

A native of Bora Bora, Pearl of the Pacific, for his mother and Manihi, island of the pearl, by his father, Poerava has always been fascinated by the election Miss Tahiti, a prestigious election to him. His participation has become a family business, his three older brothers and the coach encouraged him in his preparation. Take part in this election it is a great challenge because it accepts out of the eyes of a jury and an audience.
After its successful licensed math, she pursued her studies in Montpellier Master math. Currently she teaches mathematics at the College of Tipaerui. She knew from the first hours of courses that teacher's job is one she always wanted to practice while recognizing the difficulty of the task. Being admitted to CAPES mathematics is the next goal is to achieve it. But first, she has the head full of dreams, travel, cruises.
