Jennifer Victoria Koranteng was crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2009
ACCRA:- The beautiful Psychology of the University of Ghana, Jennifer Victoria Koranteng was crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2009.
Jennifer Koranteng, 22-year old, beat four other contestants to win the Miss Universe Ghana 2009 title during the Pageant competition held in Accra,the capital and most populous city of Ghana, on Friday night 26 June 2009.
The 1.80 m. beautiful Jennifer Koranteng will represent Netherlands at 2009 Miss Universe beauty pageant.
Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.
Jennifer Koranteng's court include Daphne Grace Allotey and Suzanna Naa Amuah Alberto Darko who were the First and Second Runners-up, respectively. The other contestants were Angela Effum and Matilda Hammond.
The national pageant was organized by William Bedzrah, Corporate Communications Manager of the Insignia Group, producers of the competition.
