2009 Miss International Beauty and Miss Global Beauty Queen crowned in a single pageant

DAQING CHINA, Last Saturday 1st August 2009. Two Beauty Queen crowned in a single pageant, Miss International Beauty 2009 and Miss Global Beauty Queen 2009.

Vietnam's Diep Hoang Thi Vu was crowned Miss International Beauty 2009 while Miss Thailand Vasana Wongbuntree was proclaimed Miss Global Beauty Queen 2009.

The both pageants are owned both by ERM World were supposed to have staged separately but an ethnic tensions between Chinese Muslims and Christians in Urumqi City forced Miss International Beauty 2009 to be transferred to Daqing City, north of China where the Miss Global Beauty Queen was concurrently being held.

On pageant night two winners announced – one Miss International Beauty and one Miss Global Beauty Queen and each winner respective same set of runners-up.

The new Miss Global Beauty Queen 2009 was the 1st runner-up in Miss Tourism Queen 2007, a semi-finalist in Miss International 2006 and the winner of Miss Young International 2007.

    Miss Philippines Lopena Maria Elena Salas Wins Miss Talent at Miss International Beauty 2009

    Miss International Beauty 2009: Miss Philippines (Manila), Lopena Maria Elena Salas won the Talent Competition during the event held on July 21th in Mudanjiang City in China

    First Runner-up was Miss Puerto Rico (Ponce), Pacheco Montanez Darli Arni. And the 2nd Runner-up was Miss China(Beijing), Ye Ze Jin.

    Brazil wins ‘Body Beautiful’ Award in Miss Internatinaol Beauty 2009


    MISS INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY 2009: Mariana Bathke, Miss Brazil, won the Miss Body Beautiful preliminary contest on last Sunday night, in Beijing, China.

    Miss Thailand, Vasana Wongbuntree came in 2nd place and Miss Russia,Botova Anna in 3rd place.

    The Miss International Beauty 2009 (MIB) Beauty Pageant Contest (not to be confused with the more traditional “Miss International”) is under way in Beijing, China. 42 Lovely contestants are participating.

    The Miss International Beauty 2009 Beauty Pageant Contest has started in Ürümqi (烏魯木齊), China last July 5, but due to an unforeseen circumstance such as a massive riot in Urumqii ,that the beauty pageant has been moved to Daqing (大慶), a city in Heilongjiang Province.

    The supposed July 26 grand finals coronation night has also been postponed to August 1, when the winner will be chosen.
