Tanzania is a country with the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. It has the beautiful island of Zanzibar and some of the biggest national parks.

To become a lawyer.

I have visited Tanzania National Park many times. I like playing with small animals like baboons; I can even hold a python in my hands.

Nelly Alexandra Kamwelu is a Tanzanian model and beauty queen who won the Miss Universe Tanzania 2011, held last May 27 in Dar as Salaaam

Kamwelu was sponsored by the Tanzania Tourist Board to represent the country in Miss Southern Africa International pageant which was held in Ndola, Zambia as a part of Zambia International Trade Fair. She won the main title by defeating six other contestants and also won the best Evening Gown award.

Genevieve Emmanuel was crowned as the Vodacom Miss Tanzania 2010 beauty pageant held on September 11 at the Mlimani Mall in Dar es Salaam.

Genevieve Emmanuel stand 6'3" tall and she will represent Tanzania at Miss World 2010 beauty pageant in Sanya, People's Republic of China on October 30.

The first runner-up is Gloria Mwanga, the second runner-up is Consolata Lukosi.

Miss Universe 2010, the 59th edition of the pageant, will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on August 23, 2010. It will be hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales.

Miss Universe 2009, Stefanía Fernández from Venezuela, will crown her successor at the end of this event. Grandeur girls from 83 countries and territories are expected to compete for the title.

DAR ES SALAAM: Newly beauty queen Iluminata James Ndiye (C) was crowned Miss Universe Tanzania 2009 during the event held at Mlimani City Conference Center in Dar-es-Salaam on Saturday 30th May 2009.

The 1st and 2nd runner-ups were Evelyne Almasi and Hidaya Maheda, respectively.

The queen beauty 1.78 m will represent the BAHAMAS at 2009 Miss Universe Pageant.

Miss Universe 2009 , the 58th Beauty Universe Pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza , from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008 , will crown her successor in the event.
