Miss World Sweden 2011 Winner - Nicoline Artursson

Miss World Sweden 2012 will be held on June 28, 2012. The reigning Miss World Sweden 2011 - Nicoline Artursson (photo above) will crown her successor at the end of this event. Winner goes to Miss World 2012

Miss World 2012 will the the 62nd edition of the Miss World pageant to be held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela will crown her successor at the end of the event.

BIOGRAPHY

Nicoline, an economic student, is passionate about gymnastics and charity work. She has been training as a gymnast for the past 8 years at an elite level. Hobbies include: athletics, dance, singing and photography. Nicoline describes herself as a positive girl who loves new experiences and challenges.

INTERVIEW

Tell us a little something about your Country ?

Halmstad is located on the west coast of southern Sweden. There are beautiful beaches and many golf courses. There are approximately 60,000 people living in Halmstad.

Future ambitions ?

My greatest ambition is to work with charity and I am especially dedicated to children’s needs. I’m a great entrepreneur with high goals.

Describe yourself

I’m a positive girl who loves different experiences and challenges. Good health is very important to me, therefore I train a lot.

Personal Motto?

You will never know until you try.

Favourite food ?

One of my favourite foods is new summer potatoes with fillet of beef, salad and a little flavouring of sauce with crispy vegetables.

Favourite Music / Books ?

My favourite music depends but I like a lot of chill out lounge music, house and a little bit of pop.

Do you have any pets?

I have one cat called Tussie and one little dog called Zara.

What is the proudest moment of your life or most memorable day?

I have several proudest moments but the biggest two of my life were competing in the mini Olympic games in gymnastics and receiving the highest grade in my diploma.

Special Talents ?

I have a good hand with people and I’m a great coach in making other people succeed in what they do. I’m a good spokesperson. I’m outstanding in marketing.

Any other interesting facts ?

I’ve been training gymnastics for 8 years at elite level and also athletics (high jump) at elite level where I was among the top 20 best in Sweden. I’ve also played in the B-team at volleyball where I live.

Two special awards were presented at the end of the Presentation Show, or Miss Universe’s Preliminary Competition, which happened in Sao Paulo on Thursday night Sep 8, 2011.

Miss Universe Sweden, Ronnia Fornstedt, won the Miss Photogenic Award, while Miss Universe Montenegro, Nikolina Lončar, was voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow contestants.

Ronnia Fornstedt crowned Miss Universe Sweden 2011

A beauty 20 year from Sodertalje, Ronnia Fornstedt was crowned as the Miss Universe Sweden 2011. The new Beauty Queen Ronnia Fornstedt stands 5'10 1⁄2" tall, will represent Sweden at the Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Denice Andree, the 1st runner-up, She is 23 year old and stands 5'10" tall. Denice Andree will compete in Miss International 2011 beauty contest to be held on October 23 in Chengdu, China.

Also Former Miss Universe Sweden 2009 and Miss Universe semi-finalist 2009 (Top15) Renate Cerljen was announce as represent Sweden in Miss Earth 2011 beauty pageant in Thailand.

The 2nd run-up and named as Miss Bikini World Sweden 2011 was Lina Axmacher. She will enter the Miss Bikini International 2011 in Sanya, China on July.

While the 3rd run-up or Miss Teen Sweden 2011 was given to Johanna Thuringer.

Completing the top 8 finalists were: Jannie Calming, Cecilia Ragnarsson, Sandra Thorssell, Victoria Staaf.

Miss Photogenic award was won by Ronnia Fornstedt. And the Miss Personality award was Cecilia Ragnarsson.

Miss Universe 2010, the 59th edition of the pageant, will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on August 23, 2010. It will be hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales.

Miss Universe 2009, Stefanía Fernández from Venezuela, will crown her successor at the end of this event. Grandeur girls from 83 countries and territories are expected to compete for the title.
