A professional model Iliana Papageorgiou ( 20 year old, 5'9 1/2" tall, Patras ) will represent Greece in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in São Paulo, Brazil. She was chosen by the Star Hellas organization.
The Star Hellas-Miss Hellas-Miss Young 2011 also known as Miss Greece pageant will held in September. The winner Star Hellas 2011 will compete in Miss Universe 2012 and Miss Hellas 2011 go to Miss World 2011.
Miss Universe 2010, the 59th edition of the pageant, will be held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on August 23, 2010. It will be hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales.
Miss Universe 2009, Stefanía Fernández from Venezuela, will crown her successor at the end of this event. Grandeur girls from 83 countries and territories are expected to compete for the title.

ATHENS - June 14th - The annual 2010 Star Hellas / Miss Hellas / Miss Young organized by Antenna TV took place on Wednesday, with the 25 beauty contestants for the title.
A beauty queen from Athens, Anna Prelević was crowned Star Hellas 2010. The 20 year old Star Hellas 2010 with 1.80 m stand represent Greece at the upcoming Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant in Las Vegas, August 23rd.
Chosen as the 1st runner-up Star Hellas 2010 is 23-year old Maria Tsagarakis,who will participate at the Miss International 2010 beauty contest in Chengdu, China, in October.
While Mando Gasteratou crowned as Miss Hellas 2010. The 22 year old model and 1.76 m will crepresent Greece at the Miss World 2010 beauty pageant next December.
And the 1st runner-up to Miss Hellas is Eleonora Bretz, who will compete in the Miss Earth 2010 beauty contest to be held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, December 4.
