Miss Minnesota 2010, Kathryn Knuttila

Many people are renowned for following the foot steps of their elder siblings, more so in the world of entertainment, fashion and beauty. So it was natural for Kathryn Knuttila, who was crowned Miss Minnesota 2010 to join the quest for the crown as well, almost a decade after older sister, Kari Knuttila Heisler bagged the crown in the year 2001. The piano player from McNally Smith College of Music has chosen to ‘Crown the good in her neighborhood’ – the pretty lady’s way of recognizing everyday heroes who contribute to the welfare of their place and people, albeit without the lights and camera. The Miss Minnesota 2010 was also presented with the Tracy Joy McBride Quality of Life Award for her endeavors.

Kathryn was crowned by Miss Minnesota 2009, Brooke Kilgarriff.
