Miss Malaysia Universe 2009 beauty pageant will be held 30 May in The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur. New beauty queen will be complete in 2009 Miss Universe pageant.
Miss Universe 2009 , the 58th Beauty Universe Pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza , from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008 , will crown her successor in the event.

CHARLENE YEONG XIAN LI

From Malaysia’s most famous ‘bak kut teh’ (pork rib tea) town – Klang, Selangor comes Charlene Yeong.
An English teacher with a Degree in English Education from the University of Cumberland, Kentucky, USA, Charlene currently tutors students from 5 to 12 years old at her own English learning centre. Her vision is to be a positive role model to these children and make education fun.
Not one to rest on her laurels, the enterprising businesswoman’s big plans for the future include the establishment of her own one-stop education centre that emphasizes the Arts with the use of modern IT technology and holistic approaches.
Charlene is a passionate dancer who spends most of her leisure time sashaying away on the dance floor – be it ballet, modern jazz, hip-hop, ballroom or belly dances and an avid reader of of science fiction books.
