Miss Malaysia Universe 2009 beauty pageant will be held 30 May in The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur. New beauty queen will be complete in 2009 Miss Universe pageant.
Miss Universe 2009 , the 58th Beauty Universe Pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza , from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008 , will crown her successor in the event.

AMANDA LEE TEE HOOI
20 / 173 cm
Penang-born Amanda Lee Tee Hooi, 20, is a Student. She confesses that she joined the MMU 09 pageant as she enjoys being in the spotlight.
A true perfectionist at heart, Amanda declares that she will only undertake any given task provided she can complete it on time.
Being the elder of two girls in her family, she constantly strives to set a good example for her little sister to follow. Since education is given great emphasis in her family, Amanda intends to enrol in a local university to pursue a degree in engineering later.
Amanda is determined to be as successful in life as her idols and Hong Kong celebrities, Raymond Lam and Myolie Wu. Her favourite past time activities include swimming, baking and cycling.
