The annual 2009 Miss Tahiti will be held on 26th June 2009. The new beauty queen Tahiti will compete at Miss France 2010. While The lovely 1st runner-up will compete in 2009 Miss Earth contest.
Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held between the 4th and 24th of October, 2009 in in Manila, Philippines. At the conclusion of the competition, outgoing titleholder Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry of the Philippines will crown her successor.

Mereani is from Rangiroa and she lives in Faaa. She is currently studying Bachelor of English at the Université Française du Pacifique. She wants to continue in education but nothing is defined. Of a simple nature and dynamics, she always helped others. She likes to please all around her. "Sils are happy, I am too."
It is a frank and sincere. Father and mother french Polynesian, it is very richness of this blend, which translates into his passion for Polynesian dance, practice it in a group. It is in this election to overcome his doubts because of lack of insurance. She wants to educate the Polynesians on respect for the environment but also the importance of our culture and customs. "We are fortunate to live in Tahiti."
